Customer Orders

For customers who wish to place an email order, here are some simple steps to follow:

Pick up is between 2pm-4pm, Monday to Friday. Please email us your order by 2pm on the day before you want to come and pick it up (info@candelobulkwholefoods.org). For example, if you want to pick up on Wednesday, you need to order by Tuesday before 2pm. All orders placed after Friday 2pm will be available for pick up from Monday 2pm-4pm or later in the week.

We will confirm we have received your order and the pick-up time and date – please call us if you do not receive an email confirmation before you are due to pick your order up (6492 2597).

When you put through your email order, please ensure it includes:

  • Your phone number
  • How you will pay (credit card or EFTPOS), and/or if you already have your credit card details on file (if not, you will need to call us – see below re. payment)
  • When you want to pick up (date)
  • List your items clearly

If you do not have access to email, you can phone through your order, though email is our preference. Our number is 6492 2597. Please do not leave a message on our phone, please speak to a staff member directly to place your order.

Information about all of our products is here

Bread orders: Please note that Wild Rye delivers on Tuesday and Thursday, Charlie Bee’s gluten-free sourdough delivers on Tuesday and Honorbread delivers on Wednesday. Please get in early with your order to avoid disappointment.

Substitutions: There will not be substitutions if any items on your order are not available – so please let us know if you would prefer an alternative if your preference is not available (e.g. regular option is okay if organic is not available).

Bulk food items: For bulk food items, please include the item name, specify whether you would like regular or organic, the quantity (weight or number of scoops) and PLU (3-digit number) if possible – see our product list for PLUs.

For items such as oils, nut butters and sauces you will also need to purchase a jar or bottle – the sizes and prices for these are also in our product list here.

For example:

  • 3 scoops activated pumpkin seeds #654
  • 1 x 500ml bottle (#970) of biodynamic olive oil #850
  • 1 x 375ml jar (#973) of regular peanut butter #255

Other items:

  • 1 doz eggs, Bega Valley
  • 2kg gala apples
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 5 bananas
  • 2 litres of Tilba Milk
  • $20 fruit and veg box (items for making salads)

You can special order 5kg and 12.5 kg flour bags and some dry goods in 20kg sacks. These special bulk orders take between one week and one month to arrive.

PAYMENT SYSTEMS

Ideally, the first time you place an email or phone order, you call us with your credit card details. These will be written on a file card that gets locked in our safe at the end of each day. We will happily destroy these when we get back to “normal” – let us know.

When we put your items through the cash register, we will use your credit card numbers to complete the payment. A cash register and EFTPOS receipt will be taped to your order. All you have to do is come and get it, quick and easy.

If you want to pay on pick up, this will take a little longer but its fine. We will ring up your packed order when you arrive, and you can pay using the EFTPOS machine or cash.

We would really prefer not to handle cash so please do your best to move towards paying by credit card or EFTPOS.

PICKING UP YOUR ORDER

You can collect from the side window between 2pm-4pm on the day that you are scheduled to pick up your order. Where possible, please bring your own boxes and bags to pack into.

Even though you are not coming inside, every customer must sign-in using the QR code / sign-in sheet and wear a mask.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF ALL

Please follow the government health guidelines around hygiene.

Wash your hands regularly. Keep a distance of 1.5m from other customers and staff. Please don’t come and pick up goods if you are unwell.

Please sign-in and wear a mask.

Please be kind and considerate – as you always are.

We encourage you to share pick up and ordering with others in your local area to minimise the number of people coming to the store.
