At Candelo Bulk Wholefoods we aim to be a one-stop-shop for our customers, a locally owned alternative to the supermarket duopoly.
We stock over 1000 products - all carefully selected according to our ethical guidelines. We prioritise products that are some combination of: local, organic, nutritious, ethically produced, low waste, environmentally friendly, meeting a dietary need, or not available elsewhere in the Bega Valley. Every product we stock needs to meet enough of our guidelines, and is thoroughly researched by staff before being approved. We work with values aligned wholesalers, and many of our bulk products are bought direct from the farmer or producer.
Our range is expanding all the time - if there is a product you want to see on our shelves just ask and we will see what we can do.

Organic Fruit and Veg
We stock a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables from organic markets in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as seasonal produce from local farmers and backyard growers. All of our fruit and vegetables are organically grown.
We love purchasing from local farmers so if you are an organic grower and would like to supply us, give us a call or come in for a chat!

Bread
We have fresh bread delivered 4 days a week, from local bakeries Wild Rye’s, Honor Bread, and Wheatley Lane. There are a range of options for gluten free customers as well, from Millford Acres, Charlie Baker, and Deeks.

Leftover bread is frozen and available at 25% off.
Local and organic dairy
In our fridges you will find locally produced milk, yogurt, cream, and cheeses from Tilba dairy. There is also a huge selection of certified organic and biodynamic milk, butter, yogurts, kefir, cheeses and other dairy from further afield from Symons, Demeter, Mungalli, Marook, Meredith and more.
Bulk dry goods
Hundreds of pantry staples, spices, teas, pastas, chocolates, and more are available in bulk at Candelo Bulk Wholefoods Co-op. We stock both organic and conventional lines in some products. There are flours, grains, nuts, seeds, dry fruit, muesli, spices, tea, wheat and gluten free pastas, sugars, and more to explore.
There are paper bags to use or bring your own containers to buy as much or as little as you need!
Local Tilba milk on tap
We now sell Tilba milk in bulk, so you can have your milk without the plastic. Bring your own bottle or we have new 1L bottles available for purchase. The milk is delivered to us in 18L plastic kegs which are returned to the dairy to be cleaned and refilled, eliminating all single use plastic!
Meat and fish
A newer product line for us is a range of organic and/or ethical meats and fish, and we are expanding this range all the time.
We have organic pasture raised beef from Bello Beef, Gamze smokehouse free range preserved meats, bone broths as liquid and concentrates, Good Fish tuna, mackerel and sardines.

We’ve got you covered for organic and wholesome sweets and treats. There are chocolate coated nuts and fruits, Spencer Cocoa chocolate bars and in bulk, Carobana buttons, Carob Kitchen bars, vegan chocolates, Loving Earth bars, nuts, dried fruit, organic spelt liquorice, and a range of savoury snacks like soy crisps, corn chips, and more.
Personal care
You will find a small range of carefully chosen personal care items at Candelo Bulk Wholefoods Co-op, selected for their environmental impact, thoughtful production and non-toxic ingredients. We have toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner bars, local soap, castille liquid soap in bulk, herbal tinctures and elixirs, and locally made balms and oils for face and body.
Cleaning products
We offer many non-toxic household cleaning products in bulk, including dishwashing liquid and powder, laundry liquid and powder, vinegar, castille soap, and a range of natural fibre brushes.
